Constance McConnell, LCSW

Ever since I was nine years old, I knew I wanted to work with people. I became a social worker and began to work with people from many different backgrounds in various settings (schools, hospitals, clinics, and private practice). I was always interested in mental health and how much people opened up when they were given a safe and welcoming space to do so. As a Black female provider, I see the importance of representation in the mental health field. All of these experiences and realizations have allowed me to ground in my value of a strengths-based approach to practice.
